What photography do you specialise in?
We photograph people and events! Wedding photography and portrait photography are what we specialise in and love to photograph. Our portrait photography offerings include engagement photography, pregnancy photography, newborn photography and family photography. We also love to capture your special events like, ‘grandma’s 90th birthday party’!

Wedding photography locations:
We currently provide wedding photography on the Sunshine Coast, within Brisbane and at a destination of your choice by arrangement.
Sunshine Coast wedding locations – Hinterland, Maleny, Montville, Flaxton, Peachester, Noosa, Mooloolaba, Maroochydore, Caloundra.
Brisbane wedding locations – CBD, Hamilton, Ascot, Mount Coot-tha, North Brisbane, Sandgate, Redcliffe, North Lakes.
Destination wedding locations – Sydney, Melbourne, Cairns, Palm Cove, Daydream Island, Cairns, Fiji and Vanuatu.
Portrait photography locations:
We currently provide portrait photography on the Sunshine Coast, North Brisbane and North Lakes. Other locations can also be arranged for an additional fee.
How do we receive our photos after our session? Are our photos from the session edited?
All your images will be beautifully and timelessly edited and provided to you on a customised Adore Photography USB. The digital images you will receive are in high resolution, printable and watermark free. We also offer a range of beautiful canvases, custom-designed albums, thank you cards and gift prints.
We endeavour to remove blotches on skin and any unwanted marks, however excessive amounts of editing above what we normally provide (e.g. removing piercings or logos from clothing, etc.) may incur an extra fee. Newborn photography sessions are exempt from the extra fee as we understand that babies may have milk pimples and are sometimes naturally a little blotchy and red.
What is the best time of day to book a portrait session? How long is the standard session?
The prettiest light for on location sessions is close to sunset – around 1 hour prior and 30mins after. Newborns are photographed inside so sessions can take place at most times, however we find that babies are usually happiest in the morning. Family photography and pregnancy photography sessions generally run for 1 hour. Newborn photography sessions could last between 1-2 hours depending on how baby settles.
How much time should we allow for our bridal party photos on location?
We would recommend you allow at least 1 hour for the photography session, plus additional time for traveling to and from locations. Larger bridal parties (6+) could take a little longer to move between locations so please allow for this. We are more than happy to assist you in putting together a timeline for your day to help it run smoothly.
Which type of locations do you recommend for our photography session?
Wedding Photography Session:
We would recommend staying fairly local to your wedding venue for the bridal session photos as this saves travel time and allows you to keep your wedding theme flowing in a location that suits your overall day. For Sunshine Coast bridal session photos we normally focus on locations near the beach or in the hinterland, both of which make for stunning photos. For Brisbane bridal session photos we normally aim to capture the great urban look for your photos, while also being able to use the botanical gardens and iconic landmarks like the Story Bridge as a backdrop.
Portrait Photography Session (Engagement, Family & Pregnancy):
Portrait photography session locations depend on the look you are after or the feel that most suits your family and the activities you enjoy. For example, if you spend your weekends at the beach then it makes sense for that to be the location that hangs on your wall!
Newborn Photography Session:
We photograph your newborn at your home, we bring all the equipment and props needed to set up a comfy backdrop for your little one. All we require is a room that has a fair amount of light (or is next to a window), and an area around 2x2m, generally the lounge room or dining room is perfect for this. Our customers appreciate the session being done at home as it allows you to include a personal touch, such as some of baby’s nursery in the photos. Yourself, your partner and any other little ones you have are also more than welcome to be included in the photo session.

All packages are inclusive of your booking fee, plus a range of products as detailed in the price list.
What payment methods do you accept?
We currently accept cash or funds transfer via direct debit on or before your photography session.
How do we book a photography session with Adore Photography? Is a booking fee required?
You can contact us via phone, email, or send through an enquiry here. We would love to chat to you about your wedding or portrait session and hear all the ideas you have in mind!
Wedding dates in Spring and Autumn tend book quite quickly, so I recommend getting in touch as soon as you set a date! We require a $500 booking fee for weddings, which exclusively confirms Adore Photography for your wedding date and comes off your total package cost. This fee is non-refundable, however if you need to change your wedding date prior to six months before your wedding we may transfer the fee to another date.
Portrait sessions require a $50 booking fee to set a session date, which comes off your total package cost. This fee is non-refundable but is transferable if you need to re-book a date.
